Passed into the arms of her loving Heavenly Father and now at home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mildred was born in Taber, Alberta and grew up with two older brothers on a dry-land farm during the depression years. After their marriage in 1942, Herb and Mildred settled in Medicine Hat where they raised their two children. They moved to Calgary and Salmon Arm before retiring to Abbotsford in 1986. Mildred has been active in the local Christian community and was able to help countless people during the last 20 years.
Mildred is survived by Herb, her loving husband of 64 years; children Heather (Chuck) Ogilvie and Gary (Donna) Hamilton; five grandchildren Mora (Darrell) Judy, Brian (Karen) Ogilvie, and Melisa, Alison, and Bryce Hamilton, as well as five great grandchildren.
Memorial service to be held Friday, Sept. 8 at 2:00 pm at Abbotsford Baptist Church, 33651 Busby Rd.
