Mohinder (Sami) Toor
It's with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Mohinder (Sami) Singh Toor. He said his final goodbye on Monday, November 6th, 2017.
Sami was born in Pakistan on January 5th, 1940 to late Milkai Singh and late Hamir Kaur. He first arrived in Canada in 1960 from Punjab, India. Since arriving in Canada, Sami resided in Mission his entire life and spent his working years at Pitt Timber Lumber.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Avtar Kaur, his sister Surinder Kaur (Jatinder), son Gary (Kim), daughters; Rami (Harbans), Sindy (Bam), Sandy (Gurpaul), grandchildren; Harvey, Shawn (Prabh), Rocky, Jordyne, Jake, Jayden, Daiven, Dillen, Kesler, Kashya and great grandchildren; Amar, Maya and Millan as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his sister Dalip Kaur (Piara).
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. Riverside Road, Abbotsford, BC followed by a prayer service at Mission Sikh Temple.
