After suffering a serious burn injury seven months ago, Mr. George Pongracz, late of Mission, BC passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 14, 2007 at the age of 78 at Christine Morrison Hospice, Mission.
He is survived by wife Pat; 3 daughters Sherry (John), Tracey (John) and Valerie (Paul); 3 grandchildren David, Cameron and Chelsea.
George retired at the age of 65 after a long career as a Tug-Boat Captain. He enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and spoiling his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family.
