Anderson, Pauline (nee Thornber)
Aug. 28, 1926 - Nov. 19 2010.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pauline Anderson (nee Thornber) at the family home in Mission BC on Friday, November 19, 2010. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Doug, sons Steve (Kathy), Jerry, Robert (Jackie), Paul, daughter Beverly (Ian), daughter-in-law Joan, and 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased in 2008 by her son Mike.
Pauline was born in Victoria, BC and after receiving her early education she went to work at Victoria General
Hospital. As a teenager she moved with her family to Vancouver where she would become a nurse's aid at Vancouver General Hospital during the war years. It was here she met Doug, moved to Hatzic Prairie and devoted her love to raising a family on the farm.
According to Pauline's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
