Robert Ivan Spicer, born March 7, 1940, passed away at his home on December 19, 2006. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years Louise Cheryl Spicer; his father Cyril Spicer; older brother Donald Spicer; younger sister Grace Watamanuk and his son-in-law Tony Beaulieu. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his children Kate (Mike), Cindy (Calvin), Rob, Mona, Shelly (Craig), Chris Schmidt and Tammy Spalding; mother Mary Estelle in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; sister May (Gordon) Hamilton in Regina, Saskatchewan; brother Lorne (Melba) Spicer in Thompson, Manitoba; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and numerous friends and relatives across Canada. Many people might know Bob from his businesses including Specialty Farms, Ideal Auctions, Papa’s Antiques and Ivan Richards.
A Viewing will take place at 12:00 noon with Funeral Services followÂing on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission. Baha’i Service to follow at Hatzic Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
