Sam Winter POSTHUMUS

“Every human being is intended to have a character of his own to be what no other is and to do what no other can do.”

On Thursday, January 26, 2006 our beloved son and brother Sam Winter Posthumus was suddenly taken from us. Sam will be forever missed by his mother Maria (Toot), his father Henk, brother Brent and sister Kiya, grandparents (Oma and Opa) (Pake and Beppe), uncles, aunts and numerous cousins and friends.

Sam lived life big, had no fear and was not afraid of dying. At 15, just 3-1/2 weeks short of his 16th birthday, Sam had what most didn’t – goals, dreams and a bright future ahead of him. Sam had this affect on people that would never leave your mind, a great smile with a continuous sense of humor, silly things he said made us laugh, a joke, a tease or a funny face.

A celebration of his life will be held at Rick Hansen Secondary School on Blueridge and Townline on Wednesday, February 1 at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the School Board District 34, attention The Learning Centre.

“Sam, save us a spot in heaven.”

Love, Mom, Dad, Brent and Kiya
