Steve Sakali, Jr. passed away suddenly and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 while working at Fort McMurray, Alberta. He was 46 years of age. Steve was predeceased by his father Steve Sr. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Stephanie (and her mother Mona Spicer); mother Elisabeth; sister Anne (Dick) Enns; brothers Rob (Christina) and Rich; friend Debra; nieces, Marcy (Paul) and children, Suzanne (Dave) and children and Kim (Bob); nephews Mike (Carm) and Bradley; and family in Germany.
Steve always cherished the time he spent with his 8-year-old daughter Stephanie. He loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He played baseball and in his younger years played hockey and loved to watch the game. Steve will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 32550 7th Avenue, Mission, BC with Father Wilfred Gomes Celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
