HRUBIZNA, Sylvia Irene
Sylvia Irene Hrubizna was born in 1922 and died peacefully February 9, 2010 at the age of 87 years in Calgary, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Johnnie, in 1995. She is survived by sons Gerald, Keith (Donna), Dennis (Myrna), Don, Brent (George), 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Nelius (Marilyn) and sisters Gladys (Bill), Alice (Ralph), Vivian (Gib) and several nieces and nephews. Born in Northfield, Alberta, Sylvia had made her homes in several towns and cities in Alberta and British Columbia during her life. Sylvia was a devout Christian who relied on prayer and faith to guide her through life's joys and trials. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Internment will follow at Northfield Cemetery, Alberta.
