WIENS - Tina passed into the presence of her Lord on May 19, 2008 at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her sister Annie Toews in 2000 and her brother Abe Janz in 2000. She is survived by her loving family: husband Kornelius, children David (Vivienne), Vic (Karen), Benjamin, Esther and Martha (Lindsay) Chambers; 5 grandchildren: Cheryl and Michael Wiens, and Naomi, Pauline and Joel Chambers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 22 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. in Clearbrook MB Church, 2719 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Avant Ministries, (formerly Gospel Missionary Union) 2121 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg, MB R2G 1P8, for the Málaga Media Centre, Spain, a radio outreach to the people of Morocco.
