BEDNARSKI; Walter Kenneth

May 5, 1943 - October 20, 2016


Walter went to be with his LORD and Savior after a long, brave struggle with heart and kidney disease. He passed away peacefully at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, his wife Barbara at his side comforting him. Walter was born in Sudbury, Ontario in May of 1943. Following years of dedicated employment as a Security Guard he began his retirement. In 2005 Walter moved to British Columbia with his wife to be closer to family. There he pursued his enjoyment of nature, fishing and photography. He also enjoyed volunteering at his church and helping those in recovery from addictions. Survived by his wife Barbara, his daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Daniel, his brother Robert, sister-in-law Ann, niece Lisa and nephew Robbie. He will be sadly missed by his numerous extended family and friends. Walter was predeceased by his father Julian and his mother Lilas. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in the Emergency, Intensive Care, Cheam 3 and Baker 2 units.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held
