William Clarke TRACEY

September 6, 2006

Bill Tracey, beloved husband of Irene Tracey, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, September 1, 2006. Bill was born December 19, 1924 in Port Haney. He lived most of his life in Abbotsford where he had many careers including establishing the Slumber Queen camper business. In 1952 he married Irene Sexsmith, who had moved from Saskatchewan to teach in the Abbotsford School District. They raised their three children in Abbotsford, and moved to Westbank in 1991 to be near their children and grandchildren.

Left to remember and miss him deeply are his loving wife Irene, his daughters Beverley, Alison and son-in-law Don Martin, his son Doug and daughter-in-law Mary and five grandchildren Luke, Charis, William, Stephanie and David. Also left to mourn his loss are his sisters Kathleen Reid and Jenny Hedd, and brother Ron Tracey; as well as many fine friends. Bill had his wish in that he died at home very peacefully with Irene and family members at his side.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11 am at Clearbrook Mennonite Brethren Church, 2719 Clearbrook Road, Clearbrook, B.C.
