A bear used to humans will eventually be killed

Human accustomed bear becoming more bold as summer ends

Editor, The Record:

We have a nuisance bear living in our backyard/ravine on 14 Avenue.

He was OK for most of the summer, but now is becoming quite bold. Neighbours have seen it run across their backyards and are afraid for their children and dogs.

It won’t challenge my dogs, but the province says it is of no concern to them.

They are not worried about a bear living in a residential neighbourhood in town? And it is living in my property’s ravine. I don’t mind it, but a habituated and bold bear is sooner or later a dead bear.
