This is a huge thank you to a Mission lady.
My husband and I became totally lost as we tried to make our way to a 1:30 funeral in Mission recently, and it was getting later and later.
Two women were talking at a community mailbox, and I jumped out of our big red truck to ask directions. One lady drew a map and the other gave me verbal directions, but I think they could see I was still confused and flustered.
“Just follow me and I’ll lead you there,” said one woman. “She’s lived in Mission all her life,” said the other, “She’ll get you there.” And she did.
After a drive that undoubtedly took her well out of her way, we arrived seven minutes early at the church. This kind lady and I exchanged hugs, and a few words, and she went on her way.
I just want her to know how much her act of kindness meant to us that day. Thank you once again. You are an angel!
