Mission school trustee should apologize

The Mission School District and the Board of Education have always operated within the School Act.
In Jan. 26 Mission Record, board vice-chair Jim Taylor is quoted as saying that an amendment of bylaws "will ensure the board operates in line with the School Act," which he states, "has not happened for several years."
As past Board of Education trustees we suggest that Trustee Taylor recant this statement. As well, a public apology from Trustee Taylor is in order.
