On Saturday night, the gloves will once again be locked and loaded for the Abbotsford-Mission Boxing Club.

The AMBC returns to the ring with 10 bouts at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre in Abbotsford.

The event, titled the Diamond Belt, kicks off at 7 p.m.

AMBC boxers competing at the event include: Carson Dyck, Jacob Racette, Franklyn Currie and Mission’s own Kabeer Phooni.

The event will also feature boxers from all across the province.

Tickets for the event are $25, and doors open at 6 p.m.

The last time the AMBC hosted at the Quality Hotel and Conference Centre was when the Emerald Gloves event occurred in March. That event saw 12 bouts and drew dozens of fans to the hotel.

The Diamond Belt event was originally scheduled for Durieu Elementary in Mission, but was moved several weeks ago.
