The Mission Leisure Centre is one of the first stops for the British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League’s exhibition schedule this season.

The New Westminster Salmonbellies and the Port Coquitlam Saints battle it out at the MLC on Saturday at 4 p.m.

The two teams are ranked third and fourth respectively in the BCJALL standings last season.

New Westminster finished with a record of 14 wins and seven losses, while Port Coquitlam racked up 11 wins and losses in the eight-team league.

Both clubs were eliminated in the semi-finals during last year’s BCJALL playoffs.

Admission to the game is by donation to the Mission Food Bank.

The two teams will also be running a skills camp for novice and pee wee players in Mission. The camp runs at the MLC from 2 to 3 p.m., and is free for players of that age to attend.

Earlier this month the Saints hosted the Burnaby Lakers in Chilliwack to officially kick off the season.
