The Canadian men's 4x100 metre freestyle relay team, which includes Mission's Brent Hayden, failed on Sunday to make the finals at the 2012 Olympics, held in London, GB.
Canada swam in the seventh lane and posted a qualifying time of 3:17.35, which put them into fifth place in the first heat.
Hayden will be competing in the men's 100 m freestyle early Tuesday at 2 a.m. PST. The semi-finals, should he advance, would also happen Tuesday, but at 11:30 a.m. PST.
