Mission United victorious

The Special Olympic region three qualifier matches were held last weekend in Mission

Mission United won all five of its games over two days at the Special Olympics Region three soccer qualifiers, held at Mission Sports Park May 19-20.

A total of 19 teams attended the event, and were split into four groups, according to their ability. The teams had to come to the qualifier to give them a chance to compete in the 2013 Special Olympics of B.C. Summer Provincial Games.

Below are the top three teams for each group.

 

Group A:

1. Kelowna Rebels

2. Surrey Vipers

3. Abbotsford Rangers

 

Group B:

1. Mission United

2. Quesnel Fury

3. Coquitlam Whitecaps

 

Group C:

1. Ridge Meadowns

2. Prince George Flame Kickers

3. Terrace Spirit Bears

 

Group D:

1. Chilliwack Wildcats

2. Surrey Cyclones

3. Quesnel Blue Jackets
