The Mission City Outlaws are 1-1 in the first two games of the season.

The PJHL team took down the Ridge Meadows Flames last week, 4-3 for the first win of the season.

The Outlaws were off to a troublesome start, being down three goals after the first period.

Mark Ferguson kicked Mission into an unanswered four-goal run after putting one past Flames’ netminder Jeffrey Smith 26 seconds into the second period. Additional goals were scored by Adam Callegari (2) and Cameron Bertsch.

The Outlaws play the North Delta Devils in the Mission Leisure Centre Sept. 20 at 7:15 p.m.
