Mission lacrosse players Teagan Dunnett (left), Madison Kokoska (middle) and Chayce Cooper have all been named to Team B.C. for the CLA Female Lacrosse Nationals in Halifax in July.

A trio of Mission Lacrosse Club female talents are set to represent the province in Halifax later this summer.

Mission’s Teagan Dunnett, Madison Kokoska and Chayce Cooper were all selected to be a part of Team B.C. at the Canadian Lacrosse Association’s Female Nationals event in the Nova Scotia capital from July 21 to 25.

Team B.C. is expected to compete against squads from Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia at the event. The girls will battle it out in the Midget division, and look to repeat B.C.’s dominant undefeated run to the gold in the Midget division at the event last year.

Dunnett and Cooper both competed in the Bantam division at last year’s CLA Female Nationals, and helped Team B.C. earn a bronze medal. Dunnett contributed with six points in seven games, while Cooper scored three points.

Dunnett also helped Team B.C. earn silver at the 2016 CLA Female Nationals.
