The Mission Downtown Business Association has a new executive director.

After creating a hiring task force – charged with finding a new ED to build on the success of the outgoing Miriam Bozman, who has taken on a new role with Mission’s Chamber of Commerce – the association has named Karley Holley as the new ED.

“Karley really impressed us with her energy, and excitement for what downtown is today, and the potential it can fulfill in the future,” said DBA President Rocky Blondin. “Her experience and entrepreneurial spirit is a welcome addition to our organization. She will inspire our board to deliver value to our members, and truly capitalize on the many opportunities we have in front of us.”

According to a press release, Holley brings to the table a passion for small local business and a wealth of experience in administration, event planning, marketing, and networking. Holley loves Mission’s small-town community and is excited to make a difference. She is eager to serve the people and businesses of Mission in this role.

“I am thrilled to be in a position where I can regularly connect with businesses in my community, demonstrate the value of this fantastic organization and foster economic growth downtown while preserving the small-town culture of Mission,” said Holley.
