Mission Downtown Business Association’s new executive director has a passion to help local businesses grow.
“We have amazing established businesses as well as fantastic spaces for lease, and my hope is that we can attract even more businesses to fill those spaces,” said Jamie Hayes, who took over the position on June 12. “I hope to help all downtown businesses succeed and make Mission’s downtown a shopping destination.”
Hayes has been living in Mission with her family for six years. She studied journalism at Langara College and dental office co-ordination at BCIT. She also works with the Mission City Farmers Market and What’s On! magazine.
