Mission’s Riverside College is opening its doors to the Skilled Trades Employment Program (STEP).
“The Fraser Valley regional office for STEP is located in Abbotsford,” said Wade Peary, principal of Riverside College.
“I wanted to ensure that the people of Mission have some of the same access to this incredible program. The STEP program not only works with connecting people with skilled trade jobs and trades education; it also connects employers to skilled labour.”
The STEP office will be open one day a week at Riverside College.
STEP was launched in 2006 by the BC Construction Association with a mandate to build opportunities for all B.C. residents.
The STEP office will be open on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverside College.
