UsedVancouver.com sponsors 2013 Vancouver International Children’s Festival

The week-long cultural festival will take place from May 27 to June 2, 2013 on Granville Island, and expects over 30,000 attendees.

UsedVancouver.com has announced that it is sponsoring the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, an event that expects over 30,000 attendees this year.

The week-long festival will take place from May 27 to June 2, 2013 on Granville Island. It focuses on B.C. cultural and artistic showcases and events for children and families. Activities at this year’s festival include theatre, music, dance, acrobatics, puppetry, and storytelling with participants from around the world, including Charlotte Diamond and Cirque Zuma Zuma.

UsedVancouver.com is sponsoring two activity tents at the festival: the Twist & Toddle tent and the Baby Change tent.

“This event has been a massive crowd-pleaser since its inception in 1978 and one of the largest children’s festivals in all of Canada. It is an honour for us to be able to contribute to its continuing success,” said Laura Grady, marketing assistant for UsedVancouver.com. “Supporting this family event reflects our dedication to community and the well-being of our city.”

Twist and Toddle is a one-thousand square foot activity tent designed for parents with pre-schoolers. It features zones in the tent for dress-up, storytelling and directed and undirected play using a variety of toys and child-friendly items.

Located next to the Twist & Toddle tent, the UsedVancouver.com Baby Change tent is to provide parents with an enclosed space to change or breastfeed their little ones.

UsedVancouver.com will be furnishing this space with change tables and comfortable chairs for parents.

The Vancouver International Children’s Festival has been running since 1978.
