Belles Sports owner Steve Yap will be leading the Mission Downtown Business Association for the next year. Yap was elected president of the group at its annual general meeting on June 6.
Goody Too Shoes owner Gemma Quiring will serve as vice-president, Gold Bin's Bob Mackovic will be the treasurer and Bethan Lane of English Tarts was elected as member at large.
Board of directors members are Carlo Billinger (Rex Cox Men's Wear), Hilde Tonkens (Uncommon Thredz), Kathi Liebe (RBC Royal Bank), Lyndon Balisky (Dr. L. Balisky), Margot Greger (The Pantry), Pia Ritch (Mission Community Skills Centre), Satti Grewal (Swing Optical), and Tami Klassen (Magnolia's on Main).
