Plans are under way to deliver the most exciting experience ever this August long weekend at Abbotsford Agrifair.



West Coast Lumberjacks will entertain with their action-packed, competitive show. You’ll cheer as they test their strength, speed and agility in a series of forestry challenges.Check out the Cone Zone, featuring a go-cart circuit with real road-side hazards. This is an educational go-cart track geared to pre-drivers. Visit the Antique Farm Machinery display and Country Horse Classic showings. See lumber cut with a restored antique saw mill, the pulling power in the Draft Horse Demo competitions and the agility and style in the Six-Horse Hitch competition.Let your youngsters burn off steam in the Vancouver Tumblebus, a “gym on wheels” featuring a zip line and rock wall, trampoline, balance beam, rings, monkey bars and more.

Along with the usual rodeo events the Agrifair pro rodeo is featuring the fast and fun mini chuck wagon races this year. Steeds of the metal variety will release their horse power. A “fight to the finish” as the Demolition Derby’s myriad 4-wheeled gladiators smash one another until one crippled wreck is left puttering among a sea of destruction. The show will roar into action Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Show times are yet to be announced. All weekend the stages will feature musical entertainment and top-notch talent beginning Friday with the Valley Voices Vocal Competition Finals where fifteen young artists will compete. The winner will be announced Friday night.The Battle of the Bands is also set to blast off Friday and Saturday. The finals will be held Monday. Experience the “golden era of pop music” on Saturday night with the Ultimate Tribute to Fleetwood Mac by Dreams. Sunday evening Grammy-award winning Christian music artist, Laura Story, will take the stage after the opening act, Awake O Sleeper.Check schedule for full listings of all entertainment.
