Author, local TV celebrity Mike McCardell speaks to fans in Mission

Free book reading event was sponsored by the Mission Friends of the Library

Author and local TV celebrity Mike McCardell, was at the Mission Library on Saturday (March 9) afternoon.

A large crowd came out to listen to McCardell tell stories and read from some of his recent books.

McCardell’s books have been called heart-warming and are written with his own unique humour and compassion about ordinary people.

His books include Blue Flames That Keep Us Warm, Cardboard Ocean, Haunting Vancouver, Unlikely Love Stories, and Shoelaces are Hard and Other Thoughtful Scribbles.

The free event was sponsored by the Mission Friends of the Library.
