Joanne Bydal, president of Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society, and members of the group wanted to do something to show their appreciation for the nurses, doctors and staff of Mission Memorial Hospital

Bydal reached out to Calvin and Curtis Adams, owners of Tim Hortons located in The Junction and Cedar Connector. They agreed to donate all the donuts needed. Together the two groups brought 20 dozen donuts, individually wrapped, to Mission Memorial Hospital on March 30.

Being mindful to keep six feet apart, the volunteers took the donuts to the door of the lower entrance of the hospital and handed them over to Kat, who then had them distributed to all departments of the hospital.
