Envision Financial employees spent a day volunteering at the St. Joseph's Food Bank on Seventh Avenue Tuesday as part of the organization's Make A Difference Day.
Now in its seventh year, this special day is a two-week long volunteer opportunity for the credit union's employees to contribute to non-profit organizations in the community.
"I live in Mission and it's nice to help out in the community I live in," said Envision's Whitney Bressel.
Envision has also been running the Full Cupboard program this year, which collects donations for local food banks, added Brenda Richards.
Last year Envision employees provided 825 hours of volunteer work throughout communities across B.C.
The local group will also be helping out at SAINTS Rescue in Mission on Sept. 24.
