On Saturday (July 20) the Mission City Farmer’s Market is hosting a special event entitled Mission Eats Local.
The market, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., has 24 vendors signed up so far for the event.
There will be cooking demonstrations utilizing ingredients from local farms, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The Mobile Dairy Classroom will also be at the market doing demos at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon.
There will also be the usual face painting and opportunities for children to do crafts.
The market takes place in the parking lot of the Mission Leisure Centre on Grand Street.
