Dewdney Elementary School is hosting its last-ever band concert May 31 at 7 p.m.
This event has been running uninterrupted for 46 years, said principal Jim Toth. The band program is folding because the Grade 7s will be in high school next year and there is no one able to run the program, he said. Dewdney school is located east of Mission at 37151 Hawkins Pickle Rd.
