New Heights Street Church Sunday dinner program has received a $2,000 grant from the Mission Community Foundation.
The program began about 10 years ago, when dedicated volunteers walked throughout downtown distributing food. Each Sunday, one of five teams continue to serve a nourishing dinner to a growing number of Mission's low income and lonely residents the church office on North Railway Avenue.
