The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre (FVCDC) is holding a raffle to raise money for its family emergency fund.

The fund supports families in four ways: on-loan equipment, emergency funds for appointments, translation services and community outreach.

The Helping Kids Shine Charity Raffle will award three prizes – a three-night stay at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, a $500 gift card to Best Buy and a $500 gift card to Real Canadian Superstore.

Tickets are $20, and only 1,000 will be available. They can be purchased online at fvcdc.org.

The draw takes place on Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. via Facebook Live at “Fraser Valley Child Development Centre.” Winners will also be notified by email and phone.

The FVCDC provides services for 3,600 children and youth with developmental needs and their families in the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack.
