Free library programs offer fun for all ages

Mission library is hosting a number of fun programs aimed at all ages.

 

Poetry Scramble

Poems! Stories! Puppets! And fun for all ages! Join us at the Mission Library April 16 from 11 a.m. to noon.

 

Family Fun Night

Felling bored? Nothing to do? The library has games, crafts, and activities for the whole family to enjoy together on April 12 from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m.

 

Family storytime

Fun for all ages and stages! Drop into the library for stories, songs, puppets and more. Storytimes run every Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. on April 14.

 

Computer basics

Learn a new skill! Drop into the library April 16 from 10:15 to 11 a.m. for basic computer lessons on library catalogue essentials.

 

Teen Book Club

Food, fun and best of all, great books! Join the League April 14 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For ages 12-18.

 

Friends of the Library

Mission Friends of the Library will hold its next meeting April 13, at 2 p.m. Join the Friends and support the local library.

 

Baby Time

An interactive storytime with books, songs, rhymes and more for babies up to 23 months and their parents or caregivers. The events run 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Fridays.

 

English practice group

Practise your English and make new friends every Wednesday from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.

 

Learn English

Are you an adult wanting to learn and practise speaking English? Do you want to meet new friends? Practise English with the English Conversation Group on Wednesday mornings from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. at the library. Everyone is welcome.

 

International Knitting Club

Join up for knitting, conversation and fun every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 pm. Experience is not necessary.
