The Fraser Valley Tabletop Day (FVTD) is making a comeback this year, on June 3. The one-day tabletop games convention will feature hundreds of board games, card games, and role-playing games available to be played by attendees.
After being on hiatus for 2020 and 2021, and hosting a smaller, COVID-19 impacted event in Chilliwack for 2022, FVTD is back in Abbotsford for 2023, coinciding with International Tabletop Day. The event has drawn hundreds of guests over its previous seven occurrences.
The event will take place at Seven Oaks Mall in Abbotsford, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and includes prize giveaways throughout the day.
A library of more than 500 tabletop games will be available for gamers to enjoy, provided by local dice company Adventure Dice. Volunteers will be hosting events surrounding different games for various skill levels and interests. Highly skilled Dungeon Masters will be present to host special RPG events, and a variety of other board gaming events will also be available.
Organizers say their event promises to be an exciting day of gaming, socializing, and exploring the world of tabletop games.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Fraser Valley Tabletop Day to Abbotsford,” said one of the event’s organizers, Darin Graham. “We are expecting an even bigger and better event this year with a wide selection of games for players of all skill levels. It’s a great opportunity to meet other gamers and have a fun-filled day of tabletop gaming.”
The Fraser Valley Tabletop Day is a perfect opportunity for tabletop gaming enthusiasts to come together and experience the latest games, meet new people, and participate in fun gaming events. The event promises to be a fun-filled day of gaming for all attendees.
