The Mission Health Care Auxiliary has presented the first cheque – worth $100,000 – towards purchasing new equipment for the lab at Mission Memorial Hospital.
The group has pledged a total of $500,000 towards this project as part of the auxiliary’s 100 year anniversary celebration coming up in 2020.
More fundraisers are planned for the new year.
