The Mission Library is hosting a number of fun and educational activities aimed at all age levels.
Sport of Spelling Registration
Win instant fame and fabulous prizes as a champion in the Sport of Spelling. Word enthusiasts currently in Grades 6 or 7 are invited to showcase their skills by competing in Fraser Valley Regional Library's Sport of Spelling. Registration forms are available at the library until Oct. 15.
Manga Village
Do you love manga and anime? Join us at the library for anime and crafts on Oct. 8, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Anime with a TV14 rating will be shown. For ages 12-18. For more information, please call the library at 604-826-6610.
Baby time
Drop by the library for an interactive storytime with books, songs and more Oct. 11, from 10:30 to 11 a.m. For babies up to 24 months and parent or caregiver.
Foreign film nights
Starting Oct. 13, celebrate world cultures this fall with the monthly foreign film series from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Authors of Mission celebration
Celebrate the wonderful world of words with local writers. The library invites you to meet talented Mission writers, Oct. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Family storytimes
Come by for stories, songs, puppets and more Oct. 14, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
International Knitting Club
Join in every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. for knitting, conversation and fun.
English practice groups
Practise your English and make new friends Oct. 12 from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
