Hundreds of Mission residents came out in support of Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 7-13) in Mission.

Mission Fire Rescue Service hosted a Fire Safety Fair on Sunday, Oct, 14, at Fire Station No. 1 (33330 7th Ave.) and presented important safety information on burn awareness and prevention along with interactive games and fun activities for the entire family.

Each year North America wide, Fire Services proclaims the second week of October to be to be Fire Prevention Week.
