McConnell Creek Hall will be hosting a Summer Solstice Market on June 26.

The public is invited to check out the local vendors – some will be proving demonstrations and engagement for all ages – musicians, hot dogs and more.

It’s a great way to get out, meet neighbours and enjoy a summer day.

McConnell Creek Hall is located at 35483 Hartley Road Mission and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The hall will also be the site of a Music Jam on June 28.

All singers and music lovers are invited to the hall for a memorable night. Jennie Bice and Tony O’Hara host this sing-a-long complete with song books.

Bice grew up singing around the kitchen table. She sang all kinds of music, show tunes, Celtic, a little bit of everything. Her fiddle playing reveals her skill of bringing songs to life.

O’Hara is known for fine tunes, bluesy style and warm connection with his audience.

Check out the show, bring some friends and songs you love. Tickets are $10 at the door. The show runs from 7-8:30 p.m.
