Life lease presentation centre opens Saturday

The new Cedar Valley Manor presentation centre is opening this weekend

Mission Association for Seniors Housing’s newest project is being introduced to the community this Saturday through the grand opening of a presentation centre.

Learn more about Cedar Valley Manor Life Lease Jan. 14 from noon until 4 p.m., located at 32821 Janzen Ave., just south of Cherry Avenue on Cedar Street, across from Cedar Valley Mennonite Church.

“This is another important step in creating a new and affordable independent living option for Mission seniors,” said MASH President, Judith Ray.

Following the success of the Cedars assisted living project, MASH carefully searched for another gap in the housing options available to seniors in Mission and determined that an independent living option was the most needed.

By using the life lease housing model (a blend of owning and renting that is uniquely suited to seniors), the Manor offers an opportunity for local seniors to be a part of a unique community, retain the equity they have built in their home and know that their future will be supported by an organization whose sole purpose is looking after the interests of seniors.
