The market is officially open for another season.

The Mission City Farmers Market held its grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 3 at Centennial Park.

A local tradition nearly three decades in the making, the market is more than just a place to shop, according to a press release, it's where the community gathers to celebrate fresh, local, and handmade.

"We're proud to kick off another season of connecting local growers, makers, and artists with our community,” said Rosa Mindreau, market manager. “The market has always been about more than food—it’s about building relationships and supporting the people who make Mission so special.”

The market will run every Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Oct. 25, giving locals and visitors alike the great way to start their weekends. Whether you’re looking for organic vegetables, homemade jams, locally produced meats and cheeses, or unique handmade gifts, the Mission City Farmers Market has something for everyone.
