Mission Fire Rescue Service to collect donations door to door for Christmas Bureau

The fire department will collect food and toy donations door-to-door on Wednesday and Thursday

Mission Fire Rescue Service will collect food and unwrapped toys door-to-door on Wednesday and Thursday (Dec. 7 and 8) in an effort to support Mission Community Services.

Fire trucks will depart at 6 p.m. on Wednesday for the area between Best Avenue and Cherry Avenue. On Thursday, the trucks will leave at the same time to collect donations from Nottman Street to Thorne Street and Appleby Court.

Donations can also be dropped off at the fire hall on 33330 Seventh Avenue from 8:30 am to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.
