GoByBike BC Society is encouraging British Columbians to ride their bikes as much as possible during GoByBike Week – which began May 31 and wraps up on June 6.

You can cycle around your neighbourhood, enjoy biking on your local trails, try riding a bike instead of a motor vehicle to get somewhere or do something, or organize a ride with your bubble.

Register free at www.GoByBikeBC.ca.

Throughout GoByBike Week, local organizers will be hiding prizes in random places around Mission for people to find.

Also, at the end of the week there will be three draws for bike light packages. To enter the draws, sign up at gobybike.ca and log at least two rides. People should check the social media and website for more updates throughout the week.

That includes – Instagram: @missionridesbikes, Facebook: @missionridesbikes or Website: https://www.missionridesbikes.org/

There are also draws and prizes for all participants at the provincial level, these include a $250 online Sugoi gift card and an all inclusive Cycling trip to Croatia hosted by Exodus travels.

Local Prizes are provided by:

Wentings Cycle and Mountain Shop;

Independent Cycles;

Mission Engineering and Public Works;

Mission RCMP.
