The Mission Library is hosting a number of fun and educational activities aimed at all age levels.

 

Manga Village

Do you love manga and anime? Join us at Mission Library, 33247 Second Avenue, for anime and crafts on Saturday Aug. 13, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. Anime with a TV14 rating will be shown. For ages 12–18. For more information, please call the library at 604-826-6610.

 

Mission Book Club

Love to read? Love to chat? The library invites you to the Mission Book Club Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. Refreshments provided.

 

Werewolves, vampires and zombies, oh my!

Weird, wicked and wonderful! Visit the library Aug. 4, between 2:30 and 4 p.m. for a cozy afternoon of creepy crafts, ghoulish  games and crazy contests. For ages 12–18.

 

International Knitting Club

Join in every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. for knitting, conversation and fun.

 

Feast on Books

Hear a delicious story … or two or three! Stories, rhymes, songs and stretches for all at the library Aug. 5 and 12, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.

 

Summer Reading Club

Discover the joy of reading! Join the Summer Reading Club for Kids at the library and savour each word. Pick up a reading record for kids, teens or adults. Prizes, contests and a whole lot of fun!

 

Please note: English Practice Groups on Wednesdays at the library have paused for the summer until September.
