Two Culture Days events will take place at the Mission Library. The Local Authors Book Fair takes place on Oct. 5 while Our Elders are Watching will be held Oct. 8.

The Mission Library is hosting two Culture Days events called Local Authors Book Fair and Our Elders are Watching.

Local Authors Book Fair takes place Saturday, Oct. 5 from noon to 4 p.m. Come down to the Mission Library for the opportunity to meet and chat with local authors. Readings will be scheduled throughout the event. Many authors will be present, including writers in these genres: romance, self-help, poetry, children’s fiction and picture books.

Our Elders are Watching takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. As part of Culture Days, join local First Nations representatives to learn about the four pillars painted by Pascal Pelletier. Family members of some of the people represented on the pillars will also be available to talk about their relatives. All are welcome to tour and chat.

For more information, drop by Mission Library at 33247 Second Ave. or call them at 604-826-6610.
