Mission students put their knowledge to the test during the Reading Link Challenge.

Last Friday (April 5), teams of students from several local schools – Windebank, Christine Morrison, ESR Elementary and Silverdale – met at the Mission Library to compete in the event.

The Reading Link Challenge is a province-wide program for students in grades 4 and 5.

Teams are asked a series of trivia questions and winning teams advance to higher levels of competition. The winning team “Stella by Booklight” from Christine Morrison Elementary will move on to compete at the Community Level challenge on April 24 with schools from the Fraser Valley.

The Christine Morrison team with teacher Leslie Caine, includes Elia Pym, Lucy Aung Thin, Noah Hughes, Brooklyn Kobes, Rowan Sheaves Chapman and Scout Harris.
