Mission students share projects at district science fair

Students from grade 4 to 12 share range of projects on wetlands, wind turbines, robotics and more

Students from across Mission gathered at École Heritage Park Middle School on Wednesday (March 5) to celebrate a shared love of science.

The Mission Public School District (MPSD) hosted its first science fair in over seven years with over 50 participants from grades four to 12 featuring their projects.

Students selected a wide range of subjects, from water filters to wind turbines to wetlands to flowers.

The fair was open to visitors from other schools in the early afternoon before the public viewing at 3:15 p.m.

Awards were distributed to the top projects at the conclusion of the event.
