The Mission Punjab Culture Club presented its annual Diwali – The Festival of Lights event at the Clarke Theatre on Thursday (Oct. 24) evening. This was a free community event that featured music, dancing, food and more.
Diwali is celebrated across South Asia and the world as the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair, and joy over sadness and is considered an auspicious time to mark new beginnings. In 2024, Diwali officially falls on Oct.31-Nov. 1.
