October 6-12 is Fire Prevention Week and the Mission Rescue Service marked the occasion by hosting its annual Fire and Life Safety Fair at Fraser River Heritage Park on Oct. 6.
The event focused on the importance of having working smoke alarms in your house, but was also filled with interactive activities and booths concerning all things fire safety. The event is geared towards fun for the whole family with a kids zone, photo booth, live demonstrations and lots of popcorn and prizes.
