Mission firefighters had the opportunity to mentor a group of local children last week.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Local Heroes daycamp took place and kids who are on the waitlist for a Big Brother or Big Sister were treated to a fun adventure.
Firefighters taught the children how to put out fires, go up in the ladder truck, and learn about fire safety.
The camp was sponsored by Mission Community Foundation.
